Juggling

Are there any good jugglers on this site? I have been getting more into this lately. I've always been ok at juggling three balls. I can do a few simple tricks but nothing complicated. I can juggle indefinitely and even look at other things while doing it (like reading or watching TV).

My question is, does anyone have any suggestions for moving to four balls? I know the technique (2 per hand) but I am really stalling out in getting it going. I can do 2 balls in each hand - separately. I just can't combine them. I can't even come close. What are some tricks or things I can work on to get better here? Surely there's a juggler or two on the board.

Y'know, that phrase just begs for a good joke ... or four.

Man, I'm having a tough time just trying to learn how to whistle!

It's all in the lips. The key is to not get too much teeth into it, but to make a nice circle with your lips, then just start blowing.

Once you've mastered that we'll move onto the balls

You know, I've noticed that the best threads usually start with a serious question that gets twisted around. This one appears to be no different.

Honestly, and unfortunately for trying to provide a good answer, I'm in the same boat as you. Learned how to juggle 2 in each hand then moved into rotating 3 between hands, but never been able to get the hang of having 4 on the go at once. I'm curious to see if there's a serious helpful response at any point as I've always been curious, but never enough to actually take the time to ask.

I forgot to mention that the tip of your tongue is important too, if you can master that you're golden. A little tongue action can really help you move from an everyday hummer to a good solid whistler.

Advice from the best, perhaps? I kid! I kid.
