My FOF2k4 Nightmare

My 35 year old veteran QB came off a serious injury and his ratings were shot. I cut him, ate the bonus, and used a journeyman QB in a wasted season until the draft.

There were 2 stud QBs in the draft. I traded up to #4 to get the 2nd one. The highest rated QB went #1.

Through pre-season he struggled but over the first 3 games he was awesome, racking up yardage and taking the team to 52 points, the highest ever scored by my team in this 5 year career.

Then the dreaded, "this appears to be a serious injury..."

13 weeks with a knee injury. Are all serious injuries rating killers or does this guy have a chance to rebound, being young and all?

$15 million in bonuses...

13 weeks isn't bad, especially for a youngster. He'll probably not lose anything. I had a quarterback miss his entire second season and he returned to play most of the next three seasons. Of course, I signed him to a nice big new contract and he promptly blew out his achilles.

Since he's young he can make a full recovery, without being injury prone... as said, 13 weeks isn't bad at all.
