Ping SkyDog - results of that FBCB recruiting class.
As requested. The following is the result of their four year career. If you don't remember, in my first season at Savannah State I had the 85th ranked recruit class and I wondered about it. Well, here's how it went. Note that they were all 4 yr starters.
This is the results. Code:
Nice senior year. Lost to Marquette pretty good. They made it to the final four so I don't feel so bad about it. I won Indy coach of the year the last two seasons and went up one level. Here's the class of 2003 from highest ranked when drafted. Code:
Code:
Norbert was favorite player. He didn't get his props until his senior year IMHO. Code:
Code:
There you go. I'd say that the rankings were pretty fair. Now, as I predicted I didn't do anywhere near as well in a draft until this season when I had the 55th best class. I never had a top 100 class even. I had classes of 137, 117, 208,no schollies and finally 55. Now that my first class is gone the well isn't exactly empty but I'm nowhere near as good. The next few seasons will be interesting to say the least. I don't think it's too easy though. I just had a really good first class.

By the way, do you do anything special do get your player cards to line up on here? Mine are always a little off, no matter how I do it.

Yeah, he did light it up back there.
All I do is use the code/end code wrap around the notepad text printout. I saw somebody do that here and tried it.

Weird. I just checked and see that you do the same thing. Try it again but don't use the player details line. It's the only difference I can see off the top of my head.

Wow, Don rebounds like a girl and he's 7'0".
![]() My biggest annoyance with my team is no one can block a shot but they are good rebounders. Blocked shots really don't seem to be overly important in the overall scheme but they are a flashy statistic and I want somebody who can do it.

Dang. That's what I was worried about. Looks like both have their benefits. Wish there was an easier way to switch between the two without going into the User CP.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the WYSIWIG editor. It does make a big difference.

BTW, one of the last pictures in the Britney photo link is an instant-classic. (The three teenage brothers, one of them with a rather interesting t-shirt). I believe the phrase that comes to mind is "Damn brother, I don't believe I'd a told that" ![]() |

Hah, I agree. Of course, admitting that you clicked through all the Britney concert photo's might qualify as well. ![]()

Back to FBCB for a minute. I have experienced a weird bug twice in this dynasty. I've posted it on the bug board on his site but HR hasn't replied yet.
Twice I've had games scheduled for me which makes me play an extra game. I have no idea why. Note in 2k5 I was 9-20. We only play 28 games. I wasn't in any tournament but the computer scheduled a game all by itself. Happened in 2k8 too. I was 21-8 before the FBIT tournament. 29 games. Has anybody else run into this??

It isn't a bug. It is the same thing that happens in TCY. Sometimes you get an extra game added to balance schedules. HR confirmed this on this board.

Man, that sucks. I wish this occured before I'd started scheduling at least so I could plan my schedule better.
Well, it's no biggie I guess but thanks for the confirmation. It was bugging the heck out of me.

I'm innocent I tell ya. It was all in the name of media research The last time the AJC ran Britney pix it was the Madonna-kiss photo, which they caught a good bit of flack for putting on the front page of a "family newspaper". I was curious to see if they ran anything that'd get 'em in trouble this time around. (They didn't, at least not that I saw) |

A likely story.
![]() Actually, that last picture isn't exactly "family newspaper" fodder I wouldn't think. I mean, it shouldn't get them in trouble and I don't want to open that can of worms but surely they took that picture of those particular fans for a reason right? I'm thinking the shirt is exactly why they took the picture.
