Getting Things off the Systray
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me get some items uninstalled from my systray (if that's the thing in the bottom right corner of the desktop). For some reason, I have a few programs that come up when I hit ctrl-alt-delete in my close program box that I don't recognize. Two questions. How might they have gotten there? How do I get rid of them? Thanks in advance.

By far the best solution to killing the auto-starters. It tells you how they are being automatically started too, and you can remove them from within the GUI. Very nice. |

Try this program:
http://www.CodeStuff.mirrorz.com download and install "starter" and it will give you lots of info on the programs and allow you to turnoff/uninstall them.

I recommend this link: hxxp://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_content.php It's a wealth of info to help get rid of startup programs you don't need and make sure you don't get rid of something that you do need.

This is a great one - I check it regularly whenever I add anything significant. |
