OT - PDF to Excel conversion pgm ?

Okay, since I now get all of my tech advice from this forum ...

Anybody got a recommend on some downloadable software that reliably transfer info from a .pdf file to an .xls file?

Yeah, you read that right, I'm trying to get the data out of a .pdf, not put data into a .pdf (there's a ton of stuff that'll do the latter, I personally recommend pdf995, best software purchase I've made in years)

I've got columns of data that are in .pdf form, I'd love to avoid having to key all 4000 rows worth of info back into Excel just to be able to work with it (sort, add another column, etc).

Anybody found something that does this reliably (i.e. it sets up the columns & rows correctly in the .xls)

Thanks in advance,
Jon

A quick search came up with this link

http://www.softinterface.com/TXLS/Text-To-Excel.HTM

I have no idea if it works well or not.

Thanks primelord, I found that one & another called "Amber" somethingorother.
They seem to be the one's that google hits over & over, I just wondered if anybody knew of something that really worked well. (I trial-and-error tested probably more than a dozen convert-TO-.pdf pgms before hitting one I really liked a lot. I was hoping I might avoid that process a little better this time around)
