On Topic - Multiplayer Bug Found
In the CFL, we have discovered that a bug has been found. If a player is released during free agency, then he can not be offered a new contract. There is not even any record of the contract offer showing up.
As gratitude for finding this bug, my owners have requested that they be made beta tester's for Jim's next game. A crazy group, huh? ![]() |

I cant find the info now, but apparently the deal is that the computer will NEVER release a player during the FA period, so if it happens by a human owner the player will appear to be there, but will not be able to be bid on during stage 1 of FA.
However, the player will become active for stage 2 of FA, so you can bid on them then. If you cut a guy during stage 2 of FA, he cant be bid on til after Training camp I believe. I dont think this will get fixed cause its more or less a minor issue only pertaining to MP. |

we went through the same thing in the eNFL and it works exactly the way stevew explained it. At least it gives you something to look forward to in second stage free agency, but it can make things confusing because these "untouchable" players are mixed in with the others and the offer button isn't grayed out.
