I'm down 1-0 despite 71% posession.

I've pretty much not touched my team in the last 5 months or so... aside from ocassionally logging in. I had a lot of cash saved up, so I just bought an excellent forward before the game... he'd better come up with some second half heroics.

Up 1-0 with 70% possession, but I lost ANOTHER defender...and this guy is 31

This is not good.

Up 6-1 in the 68th minute, in a battle between two owners who've had their team for a combined total of 12 days. This gives us a 15-3 edge in our three matches so far. Either I'm a genius, or D6 is a very wacky place.

While I continue to have the highest regard for your abilities, I'm afraid the latter is more the controlling factor.

For example, I won my 14th consecutive DVI league game 5-0 on the road with my seventh consecutive PIC this season. I can waltz into DV by PICing all 14 matches this season.

The team I beat is completely retooling, and I'll play him at home next week. Following that will be 2 matches versus abandoned teams. That will bring a team training forwards that has peaked a Wretched midfield rating.

The easy games will follow.

Maybe your DV series will be v.85, the same as mine. My series, has probably 4 active, 2 sometimes, and a recently new, owners. The other team is inactive.

Thanks for your balanced-as-ever assessment OG. I certainly don't mind playing cupcakes for a few seasons, it will help me resist the temptation to go (deeper) into debt for a few more Passables. I was worried about my midfield, but my first-ever Poor rating there was enough for 92% possession... I will continue to lay the foundations.

A Poor midfield can rule in DVI. The second best teams in my series both put up Poor and blast everyone but me.

Team record 70 NSI....and a 2-0 loss. Never even got a missed scoring oppurtunity. Our slim chances at the division now rest in the hands of someone else knocking them off, because, well, I put all my eggs into this game.

no disrespect intended but D6 is a very wacky place. Some people get all bots/abandoned teams, some get alot of active users, it just depends.

maybe the two of you can get sent to v.19

My Div VI is a bit tougher, got 3 teams with 18 points, with me leading on goal differential. Was 2 very active, one semi active, rest abandoned. Recently got 3 new teams, one has been very active, the other 2 haven't logged in. As for my game...I won 4-0 to take over 1st in series, lost my starting keeper(trainee) for 4 weeks, and got 3 experience pops. Don't guess I can complain, but that keeper going down HURTS.
