Why does my Comp thinks it 2011????
Wondering if some of you could help...Tried to login to a few forum boards, and couldnt figure why it wouldnt recognize me, finally one site says "your computer thinks 2011"....I'm like "WTF?" so i look at the time/date and sure as hell it says "2011" i adjusted and applyed, and so far it seems to work...though i'm lil worried when i restart my comp the same problem might arrise....i'm thinking maybe a virus?

Check the flux capacitor..
Ok, Ok. I'll stop. In all seriousness, have you tried running any spybot-removal software, such as "Ad-Aware" or "Spybot Search & Destroy?" |

The computer gets the time from the motherboard, I beleive. Maybe it's a sign your motherboard is starting to go kapoot. But I would check for a virus.

The most important bit of knowledge that you should have brought back to us is........
A list of the lottery numbers for the next 6 years. Spill the beans dammit!!!! ![]() Actually, you might want to run a virus scan on your machine. Run it from a clean boot disk, just to be safe. Last edited by EagleFan : 04-26-2004 at 06:19 PM. |
