How do I make a 2004 Roster?

I have the 2003 roster, I have the 2004 draft file. How do I go about assigning the right players to the right teams for the 2004 year? This would involve free agent moves as well.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

You need to use the .csv (comma-delimited text file) version of the real player file (check the reference thread) and open it with a spreadsheet to make all the changes. The player file generator that comes with the game has all the info on the file format. Once you've made all the edits in the spreadsheet, you use the player file generator to turn the .csv file into a .fdt file that can be imported into the game.

It was discussed recently in this thread: http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/for...al+player+file. Somebody mentioned he made his own editor that made this an easier process, but I don't know anything about it.

Good luck.

I altered the real player file so it made the Colts roster pretty accurate. I also made me and a couple of my friends star players
