Most unnecessary sequel
hxxp://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/05/07/martin.panther.reut/index.html
Steve Martin as Clousseau? Directed by the man who made the unforgettable "Cheaper by the Dozen"? Co-starring American Kevin Kline as Inspector Dreyfuss? And Jean Reno (from "The Professional") as the Cato/assistant??? Martin, Kline, and Reno have all been good elsewhere, but this is terrible, awful miscasting. No Sellers = no good. Without his performance, they were completely forgettable movies. It reminds me of doing Dumb and Dumber without Jim Carrey. |

So did I. It's a banner day for crappy sequel announcements. I expect big news regarding Star Wars: Episode VII - Return of the Ewoks |

Peter Sellers would not be good in this movie.
