With just two questions remaining, how will we fair today? I thought we had some excellent answers. Had I not been a sailor, I probably would have got this one wrong.

To what does the 'bitter end' refer?

This refers to the end of a rope. When an anchor is dropped on a ship, the rope must be tied to posts, which are called 'bits'. The bitter end meant you had no more rope left.

It now appears to be a three horse race. Pumpy Tudors wowed the voters this time around. After all answers are turned in for the next question, FOFC may vote, via PM to me. Voting will remain open until Saturday morning, which will most likely be the earliest I can post the results(I'm going home to Ms. AE this weekend). Of course, voting will remain open further if all votes from players and judges have not been tabulated.
