SHould people really wonder whether the Braves are on TV.

One day they get struck out 18 times, the next they get perfected... We need some new hitters.

Thanks for the heads up. I'd be watching the Twins lose if it wasn't for this.

Drew is batting 6th? I understand its a lefty pitching, but still, you don't drop your best hitter to 6th... I fucking hate Bobby Cox.

I watched the last 5 innings. Total domination.

Who is the guy working along with Arizona's play-by-play guy? Man, was he annoying after awhile. In the 9th, even pitches that were 10 feet off the plate he was yelling "that's a strike!" He proclaimed the moment one of the best moments of his life. I think he would have been down there humping Randy's leg after the game if he could have left the booth.

Still doesn't top the Kerry Wood 20K game in my book. But I'm not sure any will ever top that. The only hit he gave up that day was a little squibber that could have been called an error and the Astros could have batted another 9 innings and they still wouldn't have gotten another hit the way his stuff was going that day.

And Don Baylor would have left him out another 9 innings, too

Do us a favor and take a look at the pitching staff on the local team. I recall there's a pitcher with two of them.

What a funny pic on the front of espn. Somehow I doubt RJ cares right now. That's just a goofy pic of him

And tonight is just wrong as God is clearly tempting me. First, he gives me one of the greatest periods of hockey i've ever seen (2nd period, Lightning-Flyers). Then a perfect game. Now a huge royals rally (down 5-0, Royals now up 7-5 on home runs by Matt Stairs and back-to-back bombs by Beltran and Sweeney). It's just not fair because i have a final tomorrow and I have to go study now instead of watch the rest of the NHL and KC games

To be fair, I never saw Clemens's first 20K game so I can't comment. But Wood's was more dominant than Rocket's second 20K game. He gave up a couple of solid hits in that game. Wood was a ton more efficient. Took Clemens about 150 pitches to 120 for Kerry.

Jason Schmidt has only given up 1 hit in 7.1 innings so far against the Cubs tonight. Has there ever been a no-hitter and a 1-hitter on the same day?
