No, Sabres didn't even make it into the playoffs this year (although they were very close).

Hmm. Strongly suspect Mrs. RendeR's going to be asking "what's this "WE" thing in a few months.

Congratulations!

Way to go!

Although I have to tell you, in 8.5 months, that baby won't be running anywhere. Just a whole lot of sleeping, eating, pooping, and crying. Trust me.

Our new one is doing something our first one almost never did - waiting until the diaper is off to poop and pee. We had a sitcom going earlier tonight - 4 separate times she pooped, 4 times I cleaned it and thought the worst was over. Guess again. And then she peed all over the brand new diaper. She even did a bit of projectile pooping onto the side of the table. If I hadn't been laughing so hard, I would have been crying.

I'm gald someone got a laugh out of that situation.

Actually, by that point, I was laughing as well. It was serious sitcom material, it would happen, I'd clean it, and when I turned around, it was as if it mysteriously re-appeared and I had never cleaned it. Lucky for me, she was turned to the side, or I would have been the target.

It's that terrific newborn crap, too, all mustard-yellow and seedy (she's past the black/green tar stuff at this point). The kind that you need the Shout spray bottle on your holster at all times, prepared to spray, or else you're never getting that stain out of whatever it happens to hit.

OK, now...who else wants to have kids?

Oh, and I think you all should know that we haven't even told our families yet, but as soon as we knew Render just had to tell all of you. Now is that FOFC dedication or what?
