OT - Display Drivers
So My direct x 9.0 will not run the Full screen test of direct draw. I was told to get the newest drivers, thats when it wouldnt work. Now ive been told to try older driver sets. Am I headed in the right direction?

Maybe. You want all your drivers up-to-date. Motherboard, sound, and video. Make sure the "newest" drivers you are getting come from the chipset maker, not the video card maker.
What video card, what operating system, what machine model (or motherboard), and what sound card do you have?

Not necessarily. Make sure you also have the latest Creative Labs drivers, and the latest motherboard drivers. I will say that a lot of the cheaper computer makers (like HP) love to use the cheapest possible parts in their systems, so who knows what's not up-to-spec in there. Try to find out what motherboard chipset you have and make sure you have the latest and greatest drivers for it, otherwise you may have AGP issues.
Or, if it's working, leave it well enough alone until it stops ;-)
