How important IS stamina???
Hi everyone,
Ive only been playing HT for about 2 monthes, but I'm trying to upgrade my players. What I want to go for, is Solid for the main skill of my players. Basically one at a time, get Solid players. My question is, what is the level of stamina I should be shooting for? I mean obviously the higher the better, but when I'm trying to buy Solid players, should I get at least Inadiquate stamina? Passable? I dont have enough money to get the players with Solid Skill/Solid Stamina, but how important really IS the stamina? I know, later in the game, stamina keeps your players playing strong, but I need to know what level I have to buy. All insight is appreciated! Thanks

I don't think a player's stamina is going to affect his transfer value overly much unless it's a Midfielder, or it's below inadequate. Personally, I like to have all my guys at Solid+, but outside of the midfield I wouldn't mind a few Passables, I guess.

In game terms stamina affects playmaking, and there are fairly rare special events that can penalize you if other players on your team have low stamina.
For now don't worry about the stamina of players not using playmaking (i.e. middies, wingers, offensive defenders, defensive forwards). Later on if you play certain tactics you may need to readdress the stamina of your other positions. As far as a minimum on your playmakers, passable is probably a minimum. One exception would be wingers with no playmaking, if you have no playmaking, you don't need stamina. |

The following are stamina minimums I set for myself:
IMs: Excellent wingers: Solid defense: weak (though I prefer at least inad) Forwards and keepers I don't care... though I hear that the better the stamina your forwards have, the more likely you will exploit bad stamina by opposing defenders. |
