Question FOF2004 League control

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if I can control all 32 teams in FOF2004 on one computer?
We are trying to run a local league and have friends that come over to set up
their teams and draft and when they can't be here on game days, I send them the stats. We used to use Football Pro and did it that way. Some do not have a computer yet. Is this possible or do we all need one plus a copy of the game. Your help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

you can do it all from the sameway you would if on diff. comps.,.....just start for each team like you normally would then choose the team you need when you start up each time.

Thanks for answering. The problem we have is we can't load playbooks for anyone else but the one team I chose as Commish. I can edit players but have no access to other teams. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Sure it is me. Just got the game Sunday. And everyone is chomping at the bit to get going. So could you give a step by step for a newbie? Sorry!!!!! If you wouldn't mind that is.

Thanks,

Scott

I know as commish you can load up the game as any of the 32 teams and control them. However, i'm not really sure how as I've only been a participant in multiplayer, not the commish.

Thanks,
Hopefully I can figure it out. My brother who is 13 years older than me is driving me crazy. He is all mad that we can't control all 32 teams now. Like we did in FBPRO98.
I know there's probaby a way to do it.
Thanks for your time.

Note: It would get very messy though.

Not really, accessing a team through the role of commish gives you no control over that team. You cannot make roster moves, create exports, etc. To access all the functions of MP, you have to start 33 careers on the same PC...one as commish and the other 32 as their individual teams.

It will likely turn into a complete mess.

Thanks, didn't think it would work too easy. Too much hassle. Everyone's too cheap to pony up for their own game.Just hoped it worked like Footballpro did. Oh! Well!
That's cool. Guess I'll look for another game to use that will do what I need for now. Too bad this option was not on it. Dropped ball on this I would say. You should have total control of a game if you shell out 35.00 . My brother will be pissed. He paid for it.
I'll have to slip him some valium in his soda. Thanks for responding.
Cheers,

Its certainly do-able. It may be a pain in the ass process tho. You would have to start a career as each team for each human player. Then taking turns, going down the list, you would have to have each human export his stuff, then move the exports into the import folder, then repeat. After you have gone down the list of people, then you go into Commish mode and import all the exports, and run the stages. Its do-able, but hard. But its not impossible.

I think the biggest difference between FB Pro and FOF is really in the material one "needs" to make decisions for one's team. I ran an FB Pro league like you describe, and it was super-easy because a simple text printout of your roster was everything you needed to know about your players -- eight ratings, that's it. Send out things like box scores or season stats, and you're done.

In FOF, there's a lot more to it -- I'd basically say that it's not practical to play FOF without actually sitting at the computer and seeing what's on screen. To share with your colleagues the same kind of information you did with FB Pro, you'd have to send otu a ton of screen shots or something to that effect, I suppose -- it would get very tedious mostly because the game is better, not because the game is somehow lacking.

Not the answer you're looking for... but I hope it's helpful.

It may take a few minutes to create all 32 careers, but after that this shouldn't be a big deal. All you're going to do is "Load Game", select the team, do their stuff, export, then select "Load Game" again.

Not a big price to pay for running a 32-player league off one copy of the game.
