i gots me a virus

so yeah my computer was doing great yesterday but the clock was slow again as i have posted about before, so... i restart for the first time in like 3 days.

and that is when my computer as i knew it was done for.

oh yea, this is shorty i registered bc i cant think of my shorty pw because it's always saved. this name is in honor of bucc and the like.

anyways, immediately after reboot, my internet connection is gone. norton pops up immediately telling me it can't connect. as does espn bottom line. i click on firebird and yep google can't be found.

i'm like wtf mate? so... i reboot again and still nothing. and now tonight a full day later it has gotten worse, telling me my virtual memory is low right as it has restarted and now it won't respond to mouse commands, i can't click on the start button or anything.

does anyone know what virus this is and how i can repair??

thanks boys

-shotty

Well, I got struck with the gaobot virus...but, my internet was turned off because the university knew i had it and shut down my internet port. Anyway, I used Norton to get rid of it in safe mode and also turned off my system restore. I think the key is booting into safemode as many of these viruses can disable the virus scanner.
