Board?

What is with the board every night around 1 AM EST? For the last week, maybe longer, it seems to just slow down to a crawl at this time. That really sucks since that's been the time period lately that I actually have time to sit down for a little while and look over things.

I've definitely noticed this phenomenon as well and it does indeed suck.

The same has been happening with me with the board late at night, but it's been happening for quite awhile.

Just kidding, I don't have a clue why it does this, but I have noticed it, too...

I have no idea what this problem is, and I have never visited the board at 6am to experience it.

My guess would be that is when Gamespy is running backups or some other nightly process that slows down their system.
