Question How many players have played for you?

111 players have suited up for me over the 6 plus seasons. Jerome, of course, leads the Raiders with 119 matches played.

How about you?

Leader was Darren Pullen with 131, also my last original player. I fired him a week or so ago after he got a 7 week injury (I've had, I think, ~30 weeks of injuries this season. With plenty of physios.)

I have had 98 players who played at least one match for me and this number goes up by 1 every week, as I play my youth pull of the week on Wednesday and fire him on Thursday

Here's my top 5:
1.Patrik Kvarning55
2.Jon Riser53
3.Hubert Gortemaker52
4.Reimund Brigg52
5.Michael Nuttall51

1 to 3 are my main three inner mid trainees, future anchors of my midfield, while Brigg sees double duty as an offensive centreback on Sunday, middie/winger on Wednesday...

What's that? Double duty?

Yeah, wasn't a bad idea until some Dragon killer Raider decided to upend him and send him to the DL for 5 weeks...

He ended up missing 3 weeks, which isn't bad since it was his first missed time since getting with the team... He's now formidable playmaker and a real help to the midfield in league games

yeah, I thought about that too after rereading it. I'm short one player on my B squad, so whoever gets pulled plays forward on Wednesday. This week, I had a wretched scorer with inadequate passing in there

Gives them something to tell their grandchildren, that they played one match for the Dragons before retiring (read being shot in one knee) at age 18 or 19...

37 players have been in at least one match for Brays Bayou FC. Of that number, I count six that I later fired.

Top five for appearances, all matches:
PlayersMatches
1.Jacob Carmichael78
2.Anthony Mcdowell70
3.Floyd Scott68
4.Brad Courtney60
5.Dallas Goins59

Carmichael, Courtney, and Goins are "A" teamers who will always get one appearance a week except in case of injury (Courtney will get two during the cup because I'm trying to get his experience up). McDowell and Scott are good enough "B" teamers that they will typically get one appearance a week as well in the match of lesser importance or as injury filler.

Top five for appearances, competitive matches:
PlayersMatches
1.Jacob Carmichael51
2.Dallas Goins49
3.Demetrius Ramirez49
4.Floyd Scott45
5.Brad Courtney44

Scott has moved into the "B" team, so he'll be replaced by Guillaume Polette (at 32 competition appearances) in about a season.

Yeah, I sold Edwin earlier this season to a Belgian team. He just had a knack for scoring goals (72 in his career and he's only 24) but it was time for an upgrade at striker.

hehe, I know, but I've also had many different starting inner mids around the beginning of my HT life, trainees I'd train from inadequate to passable, then sell there. Oh good ole times

dola, and I started playing my youth pulls only this season, when I got out of the Cup. Before that, I used to carry 24-25 players on my roster. Now, I only have 21

Heh, I did that with a couple keepers starting out, mostly cause I was going to train them up, then pulled my main trainee and had to scramble to get them up a level to sell on.

Yeah, I currently have a former youth pull, inadequate playmaker with passable passing, pulled at 19yo last season. Played him a whole bunch of times at winger, then a couple times when I have injuries to trainees, but the idiots refuses to pop...

I guess I decided I didn't want the record for fewest posts per days as member anymore.

And to get to topic, I will soon have a total of 28 players played for my team. It's 25 at the moment, but bought 2 new players and buying another who *might* get a game someday.

Odd that now in my 5th season (4th full season) of HT, I've only had 70 players (seems low). Will Kiser, an original player, leads all players with total 85 matches played (68 competitive). Christian Hurt, a youth squad pull, leads friendly appearances with 28.

Original players still with squad (total games played)
Will Kiser (85) (usually a starter)
Pablo Lopez Basaguren (76) (usually a starter)
Clemence Mcmillian (74) (80% of the time a starter)
Walter Mills (74) (usually a starter)
Joe Farley (69) (usually on reserve)
Brad Hidalgo (29) (sits in lineup as backup GK)

as my 4th full seasons (first in DIV) comes to a close i see i've only had 49 different players play a game for me, with the most being Ernest Guyton with 97.

i am really on the low end here huh? But i guess i'm doing something right if i'm playing for the series championship in my first DIV season
