The Cardinals* will be leaving after tonight's game, and will be taking Albert Pujols** with them. Just thought you'd like to know.

Regards,

Coug

Oh, and I might as well mention that you come into Wrigley tomorrow and Mark Prior will be waiting for you

The way Zambrano pitched against us last time, Prior is the least of our worries. Or not.

Cougar, I think he is referring to the Pirates visiting Chicago tomorrow, if you look at your STL Calender with Jim Edmonds on the May and June pages, you will see Houston comes to Busch tomorrow for a 3 game set(no Clemens for us!).

I hope Edmonds kept his clothes on this time. Man, I don't need to see THAT again!

Yow, a Cards4Ever sighting!

Yeah, I was assuming he meant next week's series at Wrigley. Either way, it will be interesting to see how things sort out in the Central after a week or so.

It doesn't worry you at all that without our top three baseball players, we are still only 2 GB? Get as big a lead as you guys can, because you sure as heck know we are going to make things interesting for you this summer.

This is, like, the second Pirates thread this season to actually get some attention. What the heck is up with THAT?

By the way, did anyone notice the Brewers are a game over .500?

Yeah, and who responds, Cardinal, Astro and Cub fans.

On another note, I love the cockiness of the Cub fans this year, they think they are WS bound. Gotta play the games guys, just cause you have a nice stadium, doesn't entitle you to shit, you really should consider going for 200 years without a championship.

I don't think the Cubs fans are cocky. In fact, I think it's exactly the opposite. As a Cubs fan, I'm scared to death. We know that we have so much talent, in my opinion so much more than other NL Central teams, but we also know that the Cubs are destined to fail. Reconciling those two things often causes an attitude that can be seen as cockiness when it's actually overcompensation.

Yeah I'd love to know where the cocky Cub fans are. Most of my friends are ready to throw in the towel just because we lost the last two series' to Houston this past week.

As for my comment earlier, it is my opinion that the NL Central is going to be an absolute slugfest all summer long, that is all.

Go to Wrigley wearing red, you'll find all kinds of them.

Perhaps the Cardinals should look into starting a timeshare with the Pirates at PNC?

Wanker.

The only good thing to come out of that series was Hawkins picking up a couple of saves for my fantasy team...

I think it's less PNC, and more the Pirates.

By the way, the Redbirds are just red-hot right now. Two in a row over Oakland. YOWSA!
