I just came home from Vegas . . .
. . . with a wife.
 My fiancee and I tied the knot on Tuesday at a drive-thru wedding chapel.  And yes, we got fries with that.  |

Actually, no we aren't. Part of the reason that we went to Vegas to get hitched is because it was adequately cheap. We knew that her parents would try to pull together as much money as they could, but they have been spending a lot helping out her brother who had a stroke a year ago. Therefore, we decided to use our money and do it cheap. We probably will rent out a back room of a restaurant in the near future and throw a party for ourselves, but we aren't the type that craves the limelight. And thanks for the congrats, everybody! |

As I am going throughthe planning stages of an all out big church wedding, etc. I can sometimes think how much easier and simpler eloping would be, but alas it is not in the cards for me.
