Side-Of-Field or WR-Covered???
Admittedly being a noob, my "football instinct" tells me that I should have my best CB on the opponent's best WR yet the game engine obviously favors side-of-field instead.
Any FOF Vets care to share their philosophy on this? - Jester

LCB plays better on the left side of the field (anecdotal evidence in my last couple of seasons where my LCB was much better than my RCB). But if you're RCB is weak enough, and the opposing WR are also disparate in ability, then WR-covered is a better bet.

I tend to have my best CB play in front of the other team's best WR but recent results would indicate that might not be the best option.
I indeed plan to switch the regular field positions : LCB playing left / RCB playing right.

With my CFL team, my CBs are about equal in ability, so I just let them play on their preferred side of the field.
With my eNFL team, one CB is obviously more dominant, so I usually have the better one cover the better WR -- that is, unless the opponent has two fairly equal WRs. That's probably common sense, but I just figured I'd throw it out there.
