I have a blog...

If I don't announce it here, I don't think anyone will ever read it.

The blog sucks - it doesn't even have a quote of the moment.

Considering how close to Milford Huggins actually lives this could be possible...

Actually, I did pretty well with one on livejournal.com for a while, but I've been itching to get one integrated on my own website for a while... the blogger.com offering is the best I've found so far.

Blogs are the bane of the internet. Nothing like reading what some dopey 15yo is moping about at any given time. Now if they stayed in their own corner where they could be ignored, that'd be great. Unfortunately, a lot of blogs love google-bombing so it's making it hard to find useful things on the web. When I'm looking for music lyrics, I don't want to have to sift through 19 live journal entries to find 1 legit lyrics site or other similar examples. Why don't these useless places like livejournal and blogspot get DDoS instead of legit sites?

Seriously, I hope to eventually launch a quasi-columnesque sort of periodical with this thing, but I'm a little busy getting up to speed with my new job right now. I suppose I *might* be able to find time for it, but then my FOFC posting would suffer.

That'd be a brief blog entry. I don't make relationships any more complicated than they have to be - for that sort of advice, you'd better see if HornsManiac has a blog someplace.
