And everyone one of them an 'enery CM03/04
I just started a CM game using fictional players, and it seems like every player in the league is a Smyth or a Clarke, if not an Anderson.
I'm just wondering if anyone else plays CM with fictional players, and if perhaps it is version related. I am using version 4.1.4. Also I know in the CM4 version there was a problem with players with statistics of 1. I noted a number of players on the team I chose to manage with Pace and Acceleration of 1. Did those CM4 fictional player issues make it into 03/04. I know I should have posted this over on the SI forums, but I can't remember my darned account name. I'll follow up there after a while. |

I've noticed a lot of repeating names in CM as well. I currently have 3 guys with the last name Lynch starting on my team. Gets kind of confusing when I've been away from the game a few days. Could make for an interesting challenge though. All players have to have the same last name...

I had a guy named Smyth draw a yellow card the other day. Initially I was incredulous, then I realized it wasn't one of the two Smyths I had playing but one of the two Smyths the other side had on the pitch.

I wanted to start up a fake-name game but I heard bad things about it like what you guys are talking about and a huge increase of 15-16 years old being superstars.
I wish it was randomized better and it simulated past stats - for example a 32 year old defender would have stats from previous seasons and not this being his first game played of record. Last edited by Ramzavail : 06-22-2004 at 10:56 AM. |
