PureSim Baseball 2004 Release News (screen shots)

OK, PureSim 2004 is just days away from release. We are testing/tweaking the final release candidate builds this week. I'd like to thank the hundreds of beta testers who have been banging away since April.

Look for a free 7 day trial to be released any day now. If you are interested in what is new check out this list.

If you do not want to wait for the final release, you can join the paid beta today and get the game at a reduced price.

I'll probably post some screen shots soon as well. With the new park designer, new interface, dollars instead of points, greatly enhanced almanac, expansion, huge speed improvements, animated ball flight, in game manager enhancements, Lahman 5.1 database support and all of the other stuff crammed in there I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Yes, I'll be eagerly awaiting the 7 day trial!! Especially if it's out before the 6.03 ootp patch.

These loook really nice. With dollars now instead of points, I'll give the demo a try and may buy this one.

Wow, I've never purchased a puresim before. But this year I just may give it a go. I love the idea of being able to pickup anywhere in history (as has been done before) but having the league expand as time goes on (hasn't been done...as far as I know). Great job.

Thanks

Thanks guys. I hope to release the 7 day trial edition as soon as this weekend. My biggest problem right now is finding the time to write a help file / tutorial.

I *really* want to give this game a thorough going-over, and I apologize, Shaun, for the fact that I haven't yet. There are so many things to potentially like about it.

I know

Skydog,

There are only so many hours in the day. I do hope you get a chance at some point.

I have an idea, after you try it out you can write the manual. Deal?

Shaun

Please separate yourself from the I'm-not-going-to-put-out-a-manual-until-3-or-4-months-down-the-road-type developers. I'm very likely to buy this game within a month or two and would like to see some sort of documention on anything that could be considered less clear to a casual baseball fan/casual PureSim follower.
