Help with Wireless Network and X-BOX/PS2 adapter

I bought the wireless adapter and have hooked it up. It took me about an hour to figure out how to properly configure it. However, after doing that, neither my X-Box nor my Laptop computer can now resolve any DNS addresses. Anyone have any ideas of what I might have messed up and more importantly how to fix it? The X-Box connection diagnostic states that it can resolve the IP address, but not the DNS. My laptop cannot access any websites due to inability to find the page now. It doesn't seem to be a signal strength problem as my laptop is currently getting 4 out of 5 bars downstairs currently.

Never mind. I upgraded the firmware of my wireless base, and in the process the base appears to have rebooted. I'm not sure which of the 2 steps solved my problem, but both my X-Box and the laptop are now connecting smoothly to the internet
