Guesstimates (the restart) #2 results

The Results have been tallied and here they are, voila:

1. Last year (2003-04) 28 post season bowl games were played in college football. How many total points were scored in those bowl games?

Last year a surprisingly high 1489 points were scored during the 28 bowl games. This was highlighted by the 102 combined points scored by Houston and Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl, and the 101 combined points scored by Virginia Tech and California in the Insight Bowl.

1st: finkenst - 1400 (89) - 5 points
2nd: Rain Raven - 1344 (145) - 4 points
3rd: RPI-Fan - 1680 (191) - 3 points
4th: timmy nausea - 1288 (201) - 2 points
5th: JeeberD - 1260 (229) - 1 point
and the rest:
RavenHawk -1250 (239)
henry296 - 1200 (289)
Radii - 1120 (369)
wade moore - 980 (509)
QuikSand - 970 (519)
kingfc22 - 870 (619)
Alf - 821 (668)
SirFozzie - 750 (739)
tucker342 - 500 (989)

2. The Cincinnati Reds are (one of) baseball's oldest franchise. How many total regular season wins do they have in franchise history (1882-2003)?

The Cincinnati Reds have won 9,371 regular season games in their history according to my calculations. Their best decade was the 1970s when they won 953 games, and their worst decade was the 1930s when they only won 664.

1st: SirFozzie - 9500 (129) - 5 points
2nd: finkenst - 9600 (229) - 4 points

3. The 1981-82 Denver Nuggets are the highest scoring team in NBA History, how many points did they score in the 1981-82 season?

The 81-82 Nuggets, led by Alex English, Dan Issel and Kiki Vandeweghe scored a record 10,371 points or 126.5 ppg. The fact that they allwed 10320 (126.0 ppg) is surely the reason they lost in the 1st round that year.

I'm happy with my seven points. Though for the last question my inital thought was 45 minutes, but then I though that might be a touch low. If I had gone with my first instict I would have won, dangit...

Good game, GM...

My results tell that I know Basket-Ball way better than Baseball, I don't even know how many games there are in a baseball season
