The FOF installer will have the current patches.

However there is a thread at the top of the board that lists 3rd party tools that you can use if interested.

Take a deep breath or two, friend. (Bumping your own thread after 15 minutes on Sunday night?)

Have a nice look through the reference thread, which should really be helpful. I think it's unlikely that you'll need lots of add-ons for your sim experience, but if you prefer the "real" NFL rosters, that might be a start.

Down the line, if you want to try out some of the other utilities, they are all linked right from that thread. It really lives up to its name "ALL INCLUSIVE REFERENCE THREAD."

Good luck.

Umm....bump for what?

BTW, welcome to the series.

EagleFan pretty much nailed all the answers to your questions. There are add-ons, but you don't need any and probably shouldn't start with any.

After you get familar with FOF 2004, try to find an opening in an online league (it's one of the other boards on this site). For many of us, it's the only way to play now.
