Help - cant place this saying..

its from a book i think.

Might be a kids book.

Basically theres a kid who thinks that ninja's "freak out and kill people" and he keeps getting chastised for that remark.. made me laugh at the time and i've got a warm memory of it but its a totally wierd disconnected memory - dont actually remember what it is i'm fond of!


any ideas?
