Mount Rushmore - Commercials

I think most of you know the drill. Mount Rushmore has four famous presidents, and from time to time we here at FOFC will come up with some theme or category where we try to come up with four items or people that would deserve to be put on Mt. Rushmore for the given category.

Since today is probably a slow Friday for some (being the July 4th weekend) I thought I would offer a little time waster.

Today's category - Famous commercial celebrities. Pick four people, animals, etc. that deserve to be on the Mt. Rushmore of commercials. Keep in mind there are only four slots. While Miller Lite's "Taste Great. Less Filling" is probably high in the annals of successful commercials/ad campaigns, there isn't one person that represents that commercial or string of commercials. So without further adieu...

Joe Dimaggio - Mr. Coffee
Clara Pellar - Wendy's - "Where's the beef?"
Mean Joe Green - Coca-Cola - "Hey kid, catch."
Morris the cat - 9 lives

I fully reserve the right to amend my list when I'm reminded of some of the classic commericials I'm sure you guys n' gals will come up with.

Hmmmm . . . I think that this would have been better with commercials/ad campaigns than with the people in them, but it's not my contest is it.

And I think that Where's the beef is Wendy's, though I would not bet money on that.

Ooops. Thinking Wendy's, but typing McD's. Fixed.

And I'm sure it will evolve into ad campaigns/commercials. So be it.

The only one off the top of my head is the Apple "1984" commercial.

I considered Jordan and Bird playing for a Big Mac (quarter pounder?). Through the window, off the scoreboard, over the backboard, nothin' but net. But didn't want to take up two of the four heads.

Celebrity Endorsers

George Foreman - Lean Mean Grilling Machine

It should be a CRIME to have a Mount Rushmore of commercials without Mean Joe Greene's coke commerical. Buzzbee, thank you for being the only sane one in this thread.

Mean Joe Greene--"Hey kid, catch!"...."WOW! Thanks, Mean Joe!!!"
"Less filling, tastes great"--in all its iterations
Mars Blackmon/Michael Jordan
"He likes it! Hey Mikey!"--Life Cereal

I thought it was about commercial celebrities not the commercials per se?
