This one threw people way off; the answer was $4,350. I'm guessing that's ~$200k current-day dollars.

4. The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the longest bridges in the world. If you aren't familiar, it is over a mile long, and is a suspension bridge, with two very large cables weighing 11,000 tons each supporting it. Connecting the surface of the bridge to these cables are long wires... how many of these wires does the bridge contain? Picture of the bridge can be found here.
