OT - Help identifying an electronic component

Howdy,

With all of the EEs on the board, I'm hoping someone can help me indentify a part I need to replace.

I have a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard that stopped working, and of course, it's just out of warranty. So I opened it up to look for any obvious problems. And sure enough, I found one. There is only one small circuit board inside, that holds the circuitry for the Bluetooth transceiver. And what appears to be a ceramic disc capacitor is cracked in half. I am having a hard time identifying exactly what it is, so I can find a replacement. It is not round, like I usually expect, but more of an oblong shape, like a blimp. The only marking on it is A12-00Φ (hopefully the Phi symbol comes across).

Any clue as to the specs of this piece? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It sounds like your garden variety capacitor.

Yep, but I'm trying to find out what its ratings are, so I can pick up an equivalent or better replacement.

Good luck with that. That'll be a tough one.

Can you read any of the markings on the component? This could me an idea of the storage voltage.

The only writing on it is A12-00Φ. That's why I like resistors, just decipher the colored bands, and you are set!

Dola and a bump,

Thought I'd bring this back up in case any of the EEs on the board might have missed it over the weekend. Still trying to identify the 10 cent part.
