Finally, Luck on the transer market!!
After seeing the thread posted under hattrick transer market of the clown going off sunday morning, i decided to watch and see what he was going for right at teh deadline. When i looked he was still at his opening bid of 75k, so with my 1st bid on him at 77k i was able to purchase my team clown with out getting outbid even once. He even has a little bit of playmaking ability, which happens to be what i trsain. Here he is.....
Rodis Kontodimopoulos (31178364) 24 years, wretched form, healthy A popular guy who is calm and honest. Has wretched experience and solid leadership abilities. He'll keep your team spirit up, but with those awful skills, you will not get much of anything else.
Might be a bit of an overpay, but what do I know. ![]() Last edited by tucker rocky : 07-11-2004 at 10:15 AM. |

Tucker, I never meant to imply this guy was a starter, he is riding the bench for sure, but come friendly time he will get some action and a little traing. Being that he will be on my team for a long time, he might become a solid B team player, but never nothing more

i must disagree with you... for a newer team he wouldn'tbe that bad of a player. he can play at wing, cd, wingback, and even IM in an emergency. nice pickup, csmith! |

I've always heard they were going for 65k when advertized. This guy is starting them at 75k. I also bought my first ever true clown, paid the same price as Csmith...
It's probably not worth it for one of the newer, stuck in debt team, but when you got a tiny bit of money, 77k isn't that big a deal... FM

Maltby, this guy isn't a clown per se. Sympathetic/solid is a half clown, although he may possibly be your team leader. A clown is popular/solid...

agreed, 1k is a pretty good bargain, but you can't really compare it with the price of a true clown... I was simply pointing out that while your player is a good team leader, he is not what we call a clown...

After I bought my True Clown I did notice a differnace after some PIC's. I like to think it did make a difference in my squad always having my team spirit higher then it was in the past.
Is it possible to have or need more then one clown or do their personalities confilct? |

if you have patience and a hattrick addiction like myself you can do searches on the market right after the youth pulls in certain countries for players with a TSI of 0 and less than 19 years old. Then look through them for a clown and bid the 10k max for a player with 0 TSI before anyone else. That is how i got mine so cheap

nobody wanted to sell a true clown that day...it made me almost as sad as agreeing to wear puke green socks for matches.
