new TS level

anyone else notice the new team spirit level "Walking on Clouds"? Its supposedly POE+1. There is a big discussion about it on the HT forums. It's definately above POE because I just pic'd Wed night and my TS is the new "Walking on Clouds".

FYI, honestly as I was typing Walking on Clouds, this woman walked by my cube and tripped. Irony? She obviously isnt Walking on Clouds.

Yes, I know I am a big dork

...I was about to say! POE+1?

?!?!?

Because my team hit POE after the cup game, and when I looked now it was Team Spirit: walking on clouds. I figured there HAD to be a post about it on FOFC allready and I couldn't have been the first to experience it lol.

Why did they add it between delirous and poe I wonder?

It might have been in the game or whatever but I can't say I remember seeing it in the Rules page until today.

I think HT-Frid said it was supposed to be........but just wasn't presented correctly. So it's been a "bug" for about 3 years or so now. I guess it finally made it onto their to-do list since the XML files were giving some different numbers than HRF files. Or something (I'm not sure how those things work, just picking up on what I've read in the conferences.) Since it was just a presentation problem, it really didn't matter if it read WOC or not, as long as the team performed the correct way.

yeah, i read the same thing on the ht boards. one of the devs said it has been a bug and was supposed to have always been there.

It's a bunch of bull though. If it was a "bug", it would have shown up in the rules the whole time, and just not shown up in the game.

That pretty much sucks then. I have PIC every game so far this season, and my TS was POE after last week's league match. It was down to delirious by Wednesday, but I PIC there too. I figured WOC was higher than POE. Damn and blast, I really need POE by next Wednesday!!!

i "think" WOC has the same effect as what POE gave before. POE is just now what we used to consider POE+1

As far as I understand, WOC was just POE before because of a bug that wouldn't show it. The team didn't feel like fixing it then for whatever reasons, maybe it was easier NOT to. But regardless, they took it out of the rules so noone would cite how the game is 'broken' as people are apt to do when the game is not going well for them.

Essentially, walking on clouds is the POE that we were used to seeing, and when we see POE, it is what we used to think of as POE+1.

Did they make TS drop faster? Because I find it rather odd that a high 'walking on clouds' just dropped to delirious .

Out of curiosity, how do you know that you were at a high WoC? When did you PIC'ed to get to WoC in the first place? I am told that, at a high level, Team Spirit naturally falls faster. Is it possible that the scale was simply changed?

It's the same as it was before. You used to not be able to play a league game on POE (although that doesn't seem concrete as a few people here and there claim to have done it somehow). What everyone called POE is now WOC. POE is now what used to be POE+1. So for it to drop down to delirious on the update before league games seems to be par for the course.
