FOF or TPF - Help

Ok folks help me out...
I've tried the demo for FOF and TPF and I am more confused than ever on which to choose.

TPF features better graphics, better pbp (tho not great), I like the football sounds during the game, I love the draft & mock draft.

FOF runs well, I like the you can sub players during the game and prefer the way you call plays during the game over TPF.

I guess it boils down to this - which game do you guys think has the better AI and is more accurate stats-wise ?

I think there is very little debate in this area - FOF all the way.

The other things you talked about are the places TPF probably does have an advantage (presentation).

FOF is a much more mature game (this is the 5th version of it) so a lot of the kinks have been worked out. TPF is what you would expect out of a first generation game - problematic at times, but with great potential.

I think FOF2004 is the better game right now though, and a majority of people feel that way.

Both are very good games in their own way. It really comes down to preference. If you need the bells and whistles that come with TPF, thats the way to go. FOF lacks a lot of the nice things that come with TPF, such as the draft coverage and the depth of contract signing.

However, FOF gives you a rock solid engine, very nice AI, and I'll tell you right now that its hard to find a programer that nails the stats down as well as Jim does in FOF. TPF is good in those areas right now, but FOF is still a step above. Also, the player development in FOF is about as good as you could imagine in a football game.

Personally, right now my preference if FOF, but I'm very interested in seeing how TPF2 shapes up.

In addition, the latest version of FOF allows you to play with others online.

It's far and away the best way to play.
