EA Sports Fire Sale

Well if any of you are like me and cheaped out on last year's EA games (the 2004 games), I found all but MVP Baseball and Tiger Woods for $10 today. Tiger Woods is still at $20 and MVP is still at $40.

Someone gave me a $50 bill for my birthday and I picked up Madden, FIFA, NHL, NBA, and NASCAR 2004 for only 4 dollars of my own money.

Fry's and Best Buy were the places I shopped.

If you are a PC only gamer it is at least a month and a half until the 2005 versions of these games start showing up.

Edit: Oh, and Fry's also has Winning Eleven 7 for $20. I would have pisked it up instead of FIFA if I hadn't been on a roll already. Can anyone recommend this game without the amount of leagues and licenses that FIFA has. I hear the gameplay is top-notch.

Yeah, I picked up the NASCAR game last week for $10. Not too bad. I looked long and hard at Madden, NBA Live, and NHL, but I couldn't pull the trigger (I already own FIFA). I think at least one game was $8 at my Best Buy, but not sure which. Hopefully this becomes the norm across all platforms.

Winning Eleven 7 beats the stuffing out of FIFA. No contest.

I looked at my local Best buy, no go. They didnt even have copies of NCAA 2004 or 2005 on the shelves. I saw a few of the other titles but they were priced at 29.99. There is a gamestop here, I might check it out. Even on the Bestbuy website its 29.99

Unfortunately they get you for 6 bucks shipping at EA.com. I guess tho you could get NCAA for 41 + tax.

Well I was able to find the PC version of all of these games for 9.99 at Outpost.com

http://shop4.outpost.com/product/3670005

However, none of the console versions were less than 29.99

Sorry if I wasn't clear in my original post. The only games I've seen for this price were the PC versions.

I was at Target today, and they had NHL, NCAA, Madden and NBA 2004 for $7.50 for the Gamecube. I was tempted to buy them and just trade them in at Ebgames. May just be a local thing, as they were hidden behind other stuff on a clearance shelf. I did pick up SSX Tricky 3 for $5, and Amped for 4. I'll probably play them as much as a rental.
