Republicans missing the point :)

This is a quote from a story on MSNBC about the GOP courting the Amish vote in Ohio and Penn., both battle ground states. It was made by a Dem in that region. I thought it was funny as hell!

“If I know Republicans and their grass-roots operations, they’ll spend most of their time trying to phone bank the Amish,” said Kerry spokesman Mark Nevins.

'phone bank the amish' .... I swear I am almost crying right now

Now that's funny... regardless of what side of the aisle you're on.

The Amish have announced they are almost a slight shade of pink in anger over this stereotypical and ill humored joke.

Speaking of Amish, anyone watch that new show, "Amish in the City"?
