A group known as the League of Human Dignity helped arrange for Deuel to be driven to a local livestock scale, where he could be weighed.

Thats keeping someones dignity in mind.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a scale built for private use in moments like these. A classmate in high school lost her mother becasue of obesity. I believe she weighed in the 700 lbs neighborhood. When they had the funeral they used a flat-bed truck to transport the coffin to the burial site.
