Tactical Question for matches
Alright,
I have a slight question on what I should do. I am sitting third in my series, I play a new team this week, however next week, I play #2, however, he is 4 points ahead of me, but he is beatable, as he is a defender trainer, and runs a 5-3-2, and his MF is pretty stacked. Now here is my situation.
I am thinking of running the 3-5-2 this week both in league and the Friendly, that will pull my formation experience up to Solid and have me ready for the #2 next week. As for training, I am not really tanking anything as my most important trainees (18 yr old Outstanding, 18 yr old Formidable, 19 yr old Excellent, 17 yr old Solid) will all play. I am thinking about doing this for the MF gain I would get, once I get the formation experience up, I would run 3-5-2 in league matches, and a 3-4-3 in friendlies for the rest of the season. With the MF gain, I should be competitive as my MF's and WG's are as follows. (Ajax, close your eyes) Bengt Bokerberg 2 TSI = 1 000 , 21 years, weak form Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities [Head]
Waylon Mccabe TSI = 1 210 , 28 years, inadequate form Has inadequate experience and poor leadership abilities [Powerful]
Virgil Manole TSI = 1 460 , 20 years, inadequate form Has wretched experience and weak leadership abilities [Quick]
Harry Oosterhof TSI = 2 670 , 29 years, solid form Has poor experience and weak leadership abilities
Sven Thorwald TSI = 620 , 28 years, solid form Has poor experience and poor leadership abilities
Juan Carlos Abitera ![]() TSI = 880 , 23 years, solid form Has wretched experience and solid leadership abilities
Olavi Vides TSI = 50 , 35 years, passable form Has solid experience and poor leadership abilities
Jewell Ashcraft TSI = 870 , 21 years, inadequate form Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities
(Ajax, open your eyes now) Granted the players forms will change, and I could get a rash of injuries, I should be fine. Basically, I think, if I play the 3-5-2 league wise for the rest of the season, I can actually solidify 3rd place or even move to 2nd, however, If I am able to beat #2 and then #1, I can take the lead to the 1st place, and cross my fingers and hold onto the hope I get a horrible series IV team for promotion play. Anyways, enough of my ramblings, I guess basically, I am asking for a suggested course of action, or approval of my thinking.

I think the training that you will lose is not worth the extra prize money at the end of the season. You say you aren't tanking anything but you can get two passables for cheap and they would likely pop by the end of the season. Would this not get you more profit than the prize money?
I would suggest playing an off balance 343, which is what I do. I pull my extra forward from the winger slot and extra IM from my CD slot. This still gives me strong midfield ratings and I've competed pretty well with it in my IV series.
