Sachmo: King of Dragon Pass
I saw you mention this in a game thread on the main board. I bought this game but for some reason it never hooked me, I can't figure out why. It seems like it should be interesting but I always start playing it and then get distracted by something else and stop playing it. Any hints?

For what it's worth, Peregrine, I felt the same way. It's a cool concept but it got repetitive after awhile and there seemed to be no discernable correlation between tactics and results. That was my impression, anyway...I'm sure sachmo has played it much more.

There are tactics and hints. I think there are hints on the main website.
Basically the early game is a focus on building a tribe. Then the fun starts! Exploring is vital for the story, so you should always have someone out exploring. Search your tula, also. Try to be nice to the ducks. |
