Begin with complete draft
Well, a first for me in FOF as I always play with a real players file.
I decided to do an all out fictional draft career and was pick #21. I have a very young team and the most cap room of any team to start the first season. The funny thing is, I'm having much more fun with this fictional universe than I had expected... and to think I ignored all the text sim fictional players out there. ![]() Todd |

Is there a way to set up a complete draft where all the players are rookies? In other words, an all rookie league to start? That would be pretty interesting I think.

I don't think you can, but there are some people who know how to mess with the player file. Todd |

Yeah, its possible to start up a rookie only league.
http://66.206.22.72/~reign78/FictionalFOF.zip Use this to create a CSV file then change Column L in the spreadsheet to 0 for all players. You can also adjust Column J to make everyone the same age. |

dola,
then use the player file generator supplied by Solecismic to create a player file and then start a new game with that file. |

I just wish he'd fix his draft file generator! Seriously, though I like being able to give back to the community. I've learned so much from reading dynasties, strategy discussions, etc that I've been able to advance in FOF quicker than if I'd just been on my own.

How do you start a league with all fictional players?

http://66.206.22.72/~reign78/FictionalFOF.zip This program will generate a random universe of players with different ages, skills etc. Use the Solecismic Player File Generator to convert the CSV file that it generates and then when you start a new game there is an option about starting with a different player file. Select that option and the file you created and you have a fictional league. |
