Great News for Atari Fans
http://www.atari.com/us/games/atari_anthology/xbox
That's right -- 85 classic games. Apparently it's due out in November for a price of around $20. A slimmed-down Atari 7800 with 20 built-in games is also coming out, but who cares about that. This list is pretty much every classic Atari-made game there was. If this thing were Xbox Live enabled, you'd have perfection. Long live Video Olympics and the the Realsports series! The mix of both arcade and 2600 titles is impressive. I haven't seen an anthology this impressive. I think Activision put one out with a lot of titles, but it left a lot of good stuff off. The only Atari-made game I wish were on here but isn't is Raiders of the Lost Ark. Imagine it was a royalties casualty. I'm sure a lot of people will be happy to see Yars' Revenge too. |

No M.U.L.E.? OK, I know it was an Atari 800 game, not a 2600 game, but it was the best Atari game ever.

Unfortunately, it's missing the best 2600 game of all time: DEFENDER.
