More CM frustrations
I am still managing my team Kettering Town expect now I am in my second year. I have some young studs in the back. One of them, Simon Powell, was signed to a youth contract on a free transfer. Powell stud. He is alread a 20 tackler and 15 marker. He has good spped, stregnth, and pace. He is also brave. The problem? His stamina is rated at a 1. Well, I am like 16, he will improve. He jumps to 3 so I am like, ok, he is on his way. I just looked and it back down to 1.

In my games, I have only been offered the job of the country I was from, which limits opportunities. Not sure if this is true for everyone. Furthermore, if the national team is doing well in the world cup, etc., there's no turnover at that manager position.

Try applying to a lower rep country. I usually have no problem getting a job with an African or Central American country. Once you have success there it's easy to get a job with a big country. It's easy enough to edit the database initiation file so those countries have enough players for a national team.

I think your nationality comes into play; even if you are doing a bang-up job with a club team, some countries probably would not hire you. Look at the mess in England right now with Eriksson. You think they would ever really hire an American to do the job? Or a German? |

This should help his stamina improve, although to be honest its unlikely that you'll ever make him a tireless runner (expect to get him up to around 10-12 most likely with decent coaches and treatment, enough to be effective). (also) From the 'drop' it might be that he's a lazy git, if this is the case try and find a coach who has a good discipline rating to keep him on the straight and narrow ... |
