ok, as some of you may know I came up with a little proposal that I thought would be good for both sides to accept (in the lockout thread). I emailed this to several places: Jim Kelley, Buffalo News, The Sabres, Rochester Dem & Chronicle Hockey Night in Canada and Empire Sports.

Anyways, I got an email back from Howard Simon and he said he liked a lot of the ideas and that I should email the league and NHLPA with the proposal. However, I can't find their email addresses anywhere Can anyone help? I can find their snail mall addresses but not email addresses.

Honest feedback: if he told you to e-mail your ideas to the NHL and NHLPA, he was telling you to go away.

If that was the case, he wouldn't have emailed me back.

Fine. He may have been well-intentioned. However, even if there was an e-mail address to contact the NHLPA (there probably is) or the NHL (I doubt it), there is zero chance that they would look at an outside proposal, let alone consider it.

Have you considered contacting and/or joining the NHLFA?

Have you posted your proposal here? I'd like to see it.

I've thought about the NHLFA, I've visited their site numerous times when I get into a mood but have never joined.

Oh I know there's prob zero chance they'd look at it. It was more me venting frustration at the situation. I posted it in the lock out thread.

If you want to vent, join the NHLFA. Right now, they're asking members to submit questions for Bettman and Goodenow. They're picking the ten best, and those people get to record their questions and Bettman/Goodenow will answer them on the CBC news.

I find it hilarious that only one true NHL fan answered that PING...

Maple Leaf, the last hockey fan in the world...

There are millions of NHL fans north of the border and we'll all be coming back like sheep once a deal is in place.

The only reason I didn't respond is because I couldn't answer Chubby's question.

I joined the NHLFA years ago and nothing ever materialized from it. I think I got to vote once on deep stuff like "best bang for the buck" player. It really is a nothing organization.
