Sure does.

Philly next week, though. Hey, at least they'll have a short week to prepare.

I was thoroughly impressed with the way the bears played, but it's too bad I benched Grossman this week in fantasy. It's a long season though, and there's plenty of time for the Bears to live up to their woeful reputation. go. pack. go.

I think we need to take one of the next two and then defeat Green Bay at home. That would put them at 4-1, which would be outstanding..... Harrington upsets me sometimes with his play, but as long as the number under the "W" column is changing, I won't bitch.....

Ok, we lost to the Bears at home, and deserve all that is said. It was pathetic. But we will not lose to the Lions at home man, just not gonna happen. Maybe in Detroit later on, thats indoors and happens enough for me to know it is very possible, but not in Lambuea

edit: Lambeau

I meant Detroit was at home. I wouldn't have such high hopes if it was at Lambueau Field.....

ah, fair enough then. damn domes. To raise Lion fans hopes some more, Packers will probably lose this week, in Indy. Good team in a dome, that is not a good combo for the Packers to face....

I don't think anyone knows what to expect with this GB team. IMO, they can beat anyone or lose to anyone. If GB can somehow limit the turnovers on offense though, they will be a tough team to beat. I also don't know too many games where a team will finish with 234 yards at half with only 3 points - so the turnovers hurt them against Chicago.

All that said, kudos to the Bears on a great effort and there is a definate change in attitude under Lovie. Now, if the Bears can actually keep that level of intensity for the rest of the 14 games, they may be able to make some noise. But I think that's asking a lot at this point.

The Bears had to win this one to avoid 0-4 heading into the bye week. Considering the schedule this year, I'd be happy with 6 wins. Then, hopefully, they can get a LT and a WR that fits this offense.

Let me see if I've got this straight - we've got a Detroit Lions fan, in Belgium, using "y'all?!"

Too early in the morning to make sense of that one...

Here, let me explain. No it's too long. I'll sum up.

Born in Detroit. Lived there 8 years. (Lions fan)

Moved to Dallas. Lived there 4 years. (y'all "era")

Moved back to Detroit. Lived there 14 years.

Moved to D.C. Lived there 1.5 years

Moved to Brussles. Lived here 2.5 years. (Brussels)

It all makes sense.
