This by no means was another Douglas/Tyson, but I'm still shocked. I want to believe that Jones was motivated by the Tarver KO, but he looked like he was "phoning it in".
I've enjoyed RJ, but he should have retired after the Ruiz victory. I don't think there was much left to prove after that. Man, that was a sick thud when Roy's head hit the canvas.

Lost some money on USC today so I decided to try to win it back on Johnson. Won $100 off a $20 bet. It really made the whole fight a little more interesting also.

Wow. I mentioned it to my wife as I watched this fight and I'm still amazed at how old Jones looked. Slow and inactive the whole fight. He threw a total of 40 punches in rounds 6 through 8. Jones was either in this one for the money or has flat out lost everything.
Without starting a seperate thread for this, anyone catch the screw-job Montell Griffin got against Rico Hoye last week?
