No Love for Javon Walker
Just happened, Monday Night Countdown, Michael Irvin listed his top 5 playmakers. He had two WRs who had spectacular games, but not as amazing as Javon Walker. Walker came off of a 7 catch 112 yard game last week to catch 11 balls for 198 yards and 3 TDs. You can argue that Walker cannot be listed because the Packers got beaten. So did Roy Williams WR for the Detroit Lions. Now I would like to know, should Javon Walker have been listed as a playmaker? You know my vote.

Probably because he fumbled the ball at the end of the game that cost the Pack the game. And because Irvin is an idiot. That said, having Walker on my FF team, Im sure not going to complain.

Yeah he did fumble and it broke me, thought the Pack was coming back. But yeah no complaints with him in your lineup. Just curious what round did you pick him in?

He was picked in round 6. We are a heavy league in QB and RB though since we start 2 QB, 3 RB and 5 WR. I used 6 of my first 7 picks on RB's (Taylor, C Brown, T Jones, Duckett, Wheatley and Foster) and then traded Duckett and Tim Brown for Walker and Calico in the preseason. Im liking that deal
.I just lost Gannon, so am going to try and deal a RB for a QB, so I dont have to start Boller. Last edited by Danny : 09-27-2004 at 07:27 PM. |
