Question(s) on TCY

1. How active is the coaching movement on High? More specifically, is it possible to move from a Soleseismic 8 school on to a "real" Division I school?

2. Since the TCY Helper site is down, is it possible to get it emailed to me? [email protected]

Thanks for the help in advance

I had the game on CD a long time ago when it first came out but lost it... am now debating whether I should purchase it again or not. As I recall, the tedium of the time management is what really turned me off to the game.... but reading the Dynasty Reports has got me interested in it again.

Some of this has been removed now by the patch several months ago which added the ability to put in general values and have the game do all the time management based off those values. It's not as accurate as doing it yourself but it's worth it for me to just get rid of the tedium.

You may not get any for the first year or two, but in my careers, there are generally about 6-12 openings per offseason, although some of those are coaches moving from mid-majors to BCS schools, so they aren't all offered to you. You can certainly move up from a Sol 8 school to a big time conference.

The time management has been greatly improved in the last few patches (not sure which one it was introduced in, b/c I didn't play for awhile). Basically, you can set a team-wide time management template with exceptions for certain items (girlfriends, low GPAs, etc.). Makes a big difference for me.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's still a great game (though I'd love to see TCY 2!)
