Donkey Konga
Really quickly, because I want to get back to it:
Donkey Konga kicks all ass. I can't believe I'm having so much fun clapping and banging on bongos. That is all.

hmm, from just your short post this sounds a lot like Samba De Amigo for the Dreamcast which kicked all sorts of ass. Maraca controllers were maybe one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century.
I'm assuming this game is Cube only? Wish I hadn't got rid of my Cube. |

Yep! Cube only. Saw the commercial for it on television. Looks like a great party game and all. I only wonder how much those congo-controllers run for...

I've sorta played Samba de Amigo, but I was in an EB store, and I was trying to play the with standard DreamCast controller. I had no idea what the hell I was supposed to do, because I'd never heard of the game before.
Now that I know a little more about that game, yes, Donkey Konga is similar. The controllers go for about $30, I believe, although you do get one set with the game. $50 for the game one one set of bongos is sweet. It's good for just taking turns. My wife and I were rocking for an hour last night... Oh, behave.
