NFL Week 4 Thoughts

The Lions get the week off.... so I'll be following the CLE/WAS and CIN/PIT, as both should be pretty decent....

Is there a compelling game at 1pm today? The Birds play at 4. I'll probably play Rome: Total War until then.

Colts get a big stop on 4 & 1 at their 30. Jax moved the ball fairly well however.

Jax vs. Indiana is only option here. Turning that on in the background while I finish conquering a good bit of modern-day Europe.

Here's hoping Kurt Warner has a good day. With Culpepper having a bye and McNair not playing I had to pick Kurt up for my work fantasy team...

The Cowboys bye week always sucks...

Favre just had a Tecmo Bowl like play where he ran around in the backfield for about 15 seconds before throwing a pass. Amazing.

IND/JAX is actually a pretty good game. JAX has missed multiple opportunities, but have been pretty effective at slowing down Manning. Stokely is apparently Manning's reciever of the day.

wow, Dillon fumbles on the 2. Bills drive stalls only to see the punt snap dropped by Moorman then picked up and run 40 yds for a 1st down. Then a td pass to Moulds

Favre was knocked out of the game... and is back within a few plays. Looks like it might have been a concussion.

edit: comes back and throws a 35 yard touchdown on his first play back.

Ouch, you could hear JAX's LT MCL pop on that play. That will be an ugly replay.

Bears fans can begin scouting potential Left Tackles and Receivers that will be available in the upcoming draft.

It looks like another year of looking forward to the draft before the middle of October.

and after the TD pass, Favre is out of the game again. I'm thinking it was a concussion.

So again

1. Concussion
2. Comes back in for one play (35 yard TD pass)
3. Back on the sideling (Pederson in the game).

Nothing official, just plenty of speculation that it is a concussion.

Word now is that Favre went back onto the field without clearance (which makes sense if you see the replay of a visibly puzzled Pederson being pulled out of the huddle by Favre). His return was a 28 yard TD pass, and he's been back on the sideline since.

THe official word is that "his return will be evaluated on a posession by posession basis." Looks like a concussion, and I don't think he'll be back in the game.

Nice INT by the D.Clark, the ref also screwed JAX out of 25 yards on the return.

OK, but it can't be a Manning TD as my opponent owns him in the EuroFOFC fantasy football league...

Yep. It didn't look like the kicker got real good contact. Pederson thew a pick anyway though.
